Why spending time in a studio to get a couple of family photographs when the summer calls you to stay outside with your kids and enjoy time together on the playground? I met this laid-back family on their favorite playground by a river, not far from their home. The older son was running wild, trying all the different climbing frames and ropes, while his little brother was sticking to the mommy most of the time. And again, I admired what I saw – such a peaceful afternoon full of joy and love! I am recently truly lucky with all the families I get a chance to photograph….

“Look, a mole hole!” I screamed and then suddenly realized that maybe not every mother likes watching her kids digging in soil and getting dirty, especially during the family photo shoot. I immediately looked at the parents to check how they think of my adventurous idea. And you know what? They laughed. They looked at their children with sheer adoration and sincerely laughed…

This was my first outdoor photo session on playground and it was really fun. The children got easily to their own world of game and the parents quickly joined them. And I bet that if they didn′t know I photographed them, they wouldn′t even notice me running around with my camera.  I think I will suggest my clients to let me photograph them with their kids on the playgrounds more often – just look how genuine the family photographs are!
