I met the parents of this little beauty just a few days before she was born for a very quick yet very laid-back maternity photo shoot. And I was very pleased that I could soon meet them again for an in-home newborn photo shoot and take a couple of very authentic newborn photographs of their first baby.

When I arrived, the baby was sleeping and – believe me or not – she stayed in her bed almost the whole photo shoot! It was only at the end of this peaceful newborn photo session that her mom took her in the swaddle blanket out of the bed and asked me to take a few photographs with her little treasure.

I didn’t wrap the baby in any cloth, neither did I pose her. I was just being there with my camera, capturing what I saw. The newborn photographs you see here are simple yet very authentic and genuinely beautiful. Look at her… She is a little perfection.
