Not every wedding is about grand ballrooms, formal attire, and big guest lists. Some weddings are simply about making things official in a way that feels right for the couple – relaxed, intimate, and shared with the people who matter most. This small civil wedding in Vienna was exactly that – a heartfelt moment of love, laughter, and family.

 

The bride and groom, already parents to two little boys, approached their wedding day with an effortless, authentic charm. From their casual wedding outfits and Birkenstock shoes to the intimate ceremony at the Vienna registry office (Standesamt), everything reflected their down-to-earth personalities. The wedding was not about tradition or spectacle – it was a practical yet meaningful celebration, witnessed by their closest family and best friends.

 

The ceremony was filled with emotion – tears in the eyes of the best man, the bride’s father watching her with admiration, and the grandfather playing a song on the piano before she walked in. After the couple said “yes,” they stepped outside, greeted by bubbles, laughter, and warm embraces. 

 

Much of this wedding was captured in black and white, emphasizing its documentary-style approach and the real, unscripted emotions that made the day unforgettable.
